Women's hockey 3rds: This is the first time that the women’s hockey 3rds game has counted for points in Roses. In their exhibition match last year, Lancaster lost to the white rose; however they will undoubtedly hope to rectify this given that a point is up for grabs. Women's hockey 2nds: The women’s hockey 2nds lost 6-0 to York in Roses 2011 but will be hoping to build upon their successful 2011-2012 season having finished 2nd in the BUCS Northern 5A League. Women's hockey 1sts: Having drawn with York 3-3 in Roses 2010 and lost to them 3-0 in Roses 2011, the women’s hockey 1sts will be hungry for victory. They came second in their BUCS Northern 2A League this year so will be employing their successful training and game plans to throw at their opposition. Men's 3rds: Currently one of three Lancaster teams set to taste a Roses defeat in their history, expect the same as usual from these lads! Men's 2nds: Finishing 2nd in their BUCS league., our 2's have had a pretty solid season, can they cap it off with a victory over the White Rose? Men's 1sts: With a somehwta mixed season finishing 4th in their league due to a number ofp layers unable to play on Wednesdays, expect this local league Cup finalist to come firing on all cyclinders with their best chance of a Roses win in a good few years
