Roses Live 2012

It was a close call between the Badminton women’s 1st teams in 2011 with York edging slightly ahead. Lancaster will be hoping that the luck turns on its head for Roses 2012. Lancaster’s Badminton men’s 1st team suffered a heavy defeat against York last year, 7-2. 2012 will see them attempting to close that margin and be the underdogs in the competition. The Badminton mixed teams were fairly evenly matched in 2011. Lancaster had the edge winning 5-4, which they will undoubtedly be hoping to replicate in 2012. The Badminton men’s 2nd team had similar fortunes to that of the 1sts at last year’s Roses, losing 7-2 to York. They narrowly beat their York counterparts in 2010 so will be looking to replicate that performance.
