Women's 5k Race: Following last year’s 10k race, the field has been divided into two with males and females running separately. The 5k race for the women this year looks set to be a hot contest following a gutsy 2nd place performance from Lancaster’s Nicola Aylett followed by Lea Taylor who finished 5th in 2011. Men's 10k Race: Following last year’s 10k race, the field has been divided into two with males and females running separately. The men will be sticking to a 10k route and is undoubtedly set to be a fast race with York going over the line last year in an impressive 39.42 minutes. Tom Nicholson will be looking to gain points this year having finished third in 41.54 minutes in 2011.
